Gary Holyoak
Gary Holyoak was appointed Chief Executive Officer of INNOViON in August 2003 after joining the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2002. Mr. Holyoak's career spans more than 20 years in the semiconductor materials and services sector.

Prior to joining INNOViON, he held engineering, product marketing and sales management positions in the European and US divisions of MEMC Electronic Materials, Inc., a world renowned substrate materials provider to leading semiconductor manufacturers.

He received his BSc Hons. in Chemical Engineering and Fuel Technology from Sheffield University, England and is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and Chartered Engineer.

Barb Freund
Ms. Freund brings over 15 years of experience in the semiconductor materials business. At Lawrence Semiconductor, an outsource epitaxial service provider in Mesa, Arizona, Ms. Freund was instrumental in growing Lawrence from $3.2MM in 1992 to over $22MM in 1996. In 1997 she successfully organized the merger of Lawrence with ATMI as a pooling of interest transaction, valued at over $100MM. Ms. Freund became the CFO of the merged business until her departure to join Implant Center in July 1998.

Ms. Freund was previously an Assistant Controller at the Pointe Resorts in Phoenix managing revenues in excess $120MM. She began her career with Guess? Jeans while still a start-up and remained through the national expansion of the company after receiving her BS in Accounting from Arizona State University. Ms. Freund is a CPA in Arizona.

Andy Vitus
Andy is focused on Scale Venture Partners' hardware investments and plays a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities in semiconductors, communications and novel materials. He is currently focused on innovations in consumer electronics and mixed signal technologies, and has worked closely with Auvitek, Entone, and Picolight.

Prior to joining Scale VP in 2003, Andy worked as a hardware engineer for Electronics for Imaging, designing embedded print server platforms and video compression circuits. Previously, he was a software engineer for De Beers Research Labs, doing research on computer vision for both medical and mining applications.

Andy earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.

Russ Weiss
Russell Weiss has over 37 years experience in the Semiconductor Industry. Starting with Monsanto Electronic Materials in 1970, he held numerous direct sales, sales management, product management, and project-engineering positions related to silicon materials. In 1984 Russ joined Micro Mask Corporation where he became Executive VP and COO. He was instrumental in the sale of Micro Mask to Hoya Corporation in 1987. He then became President and CEO of Probe Technology, a probe card manufacturer and wholly owned subsidiary of Hoya Corp. In 1991 he joined Schlumberger as WW VP of Field Operations (including sales, service and applications). In 1993 he became VP and General Manager of Schlumberger ATE test equipment division.

In 1996 Russ joined KLA-Tencor where he held several senior executive positions including President and Representative Director KLA-Tencor-Japan Ltd, VP/GM WW Sales Operations and VP/GM of Sales and Strategy Development. In February 2007 Russ retired from KLA-Tencor and founded Ascot Consulting where he is President and CEO.

Russ earned an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University.
