INNOViON Announces Site Consolidation

INNOViON Corporation, a provider of foundry ion implant services for the micro-electronics industry, announced today that it will be consolidating the implant service activities performed at their Chandler, AZ site, into their San Jose, CA site, effective July 17, 2009.

While our overall business has held up quite well given the challenging economic environment, we will be more efficient running with better utilization out of a consolidated site. In fact, we are very excited about our prospects for the San Jose facility as we continue to add new tooling and capabilities, with multiple installations underway currently and several new market opportunities being developed.”

INNOViON had previously announced to its customers that it would also be consolidating the activities of its Gresham site into the San Jose facility during Q3, 2009. The exact timing of this closure is to be determined as INNOViON concludes its contract obligations and transitions customers to the San Jose facility.
