INNOViON Announces New Board Member

INNOViON Corporation announced today that Mr. Russ Weiss has joined their Board of Directors.


Russell Weiss has 37 years experience in the Semiconductor Industry. Starting with Monsanto Electronic Materials in 1970, he held numerous direct sales, sales management, product management, and project-engineering positions related to silicon materials. In 1984 Russ joined Micro Mask Corporation where he became Executive VP and COO. He was instrumental in the sale of Micro Mask to Hoya Corporation in 1987. He then became President and CEO of Probe Technology, a probe card manufacturer and wholly owned subsidiary of Hoya Corp. In 1991 he joined Schlumberger as WW VP of Field Operations (including sales, service and applications). In 1993 he became VP and General Manager of Schlumberger ATE test equipment division.

In 1996 Russ joined KLA-Tencor where he held several senior executive positions including President and Representative Director KLA-Tencor-Japan Ltd, VP/GM WW Sales Operations and VP/GM of Sales and Strategy Development. In February 2007 Russ retired from KLA-Tencor and founded Ascot Consulting where he is President and CEO.

Russ earned an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University.
