INNOViON Announces Sales Rep Agreement for Plasma Immersion Ion Implantation

INNOViON Corporation, a provider of foundry ion implant services for the micro-electronics industry, announced today that it has signed an Agreement with Ion Beam Services (IBS) of France to represent IBS in the U.S. for their PULSION™ Plasma Immersion Ion Implantation (PIII) implant service requirements.

Gary Holyoak, INNOViON CEO, stated, “PIII is gaining interest and we have fielded inquiries for it in leading edge and unique applications such as Ultra-Shallow Junction and 3D implant for both P and N doping. With IBS’s capabilities in this arena via its PULSION™ tool, it was determined we should work together more closely as this market develops. While INNOViON and our customers will benefit from the additional capability access (incl. 300mm), IBS will benefit from the broad reach and customer base of INNOViON.”
